The "Childhood Apraxia of Speech: Assessment and Management Certification Course" by Ms. Shereen Idiculla includes multiple sessions focusing on different aspects of speech apraxia assessment and management. The sessions cover topics such as bottom-up processing of the brain, video analysis, primitive reflex assessment, effects of retained reflexes, principles of motor learning, oral motor movements for speech development, facial and tactile cueing for speech transitions, and using music and movement for learning in Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). Each session includes practical applications and opportunities for questions and answers. The course is scheduled to be held online via the Zoom platform in March.
